FORMATION is the first venture in the XYZ portfolio and the operating ground from which XYZ emerged. The company builds Spatial Intelligence systems that combine maps, search, location data, and operational context.
AI is part of how the venture operates, not a feature added at the edge. FORMATION leans heavily on AI across four connected areas:
- The website is maintained through agentic content, code, QA, and deployment workflows.
- OpenLocationStack uses AI-assisted product, documentation, engineering, and go-to-market work around open location technology.
- Slides and sales material are built as structured, reviewable production workflows instead of one-off manual files.
- Sales work uses AI for research, preparation, follow-up, and keeping the operating context connected.
The practical outcome is a small team that can ship and operate across more surfaces without splitting every task into a separate manual process. Website work informs product communication. Product knowledge feeds presentations. Presentations support sales. Sales feedback returns to the venture.
